The Council for Responsible Nutrition was founded in 1979 to address the evolving climate of regulation in the context of a growing food supplement market. The CRN continues to create a sound political and legislative framework for future development and innovation within this important market sector. It fully recognises the need for a regulatory framework which ensures the manufacture of safe, high quality food supplement products and freedom of choice for consumers. Representing members’ needs, the CRN communicates with regulatory bodies, members of parliament, scientific organisations and other trade and consumer interest bodies at both national and international level.
The CRN membership includes the nation’s leading companies of UK, European and international origin.
